Hi everyone! I got this Thai constellation a couple months ago and noticed she had some very small brown dots on the variegated parts when I bought it. These didn’t spread, but a few weeks later, brown spots started developing (pics 2-6). Since then, I’ve repotted her (she was pretty root bound) and cut off the biggest brown portion which has since stopped browning. This was a little over a week ago.
However, I am now noticing these new brown spots (pics 1 and 2) which started off as really small brown dots and have now turned into a larger brown blotch. I don’t believe the other brown spots from pics 2-6 have actually grown (if they have, they’ve barely grown), but I am worried and confused about what the issue might be. The only affected parts of the plant are the variegated parts and there is a new leaf “stem” that is visible but has not grow at all in the last 2 months. I would appreciate any help regarding this matter, thank you!!

Get some silica. It helps the white/cream from browning because there is no chlorophyll in it to photosynthesize.
Kinda normal with the highly varigated parts. Silica helps prevent rapid browning but eventually it likely will brown. Especially if there are large white portions on the leaf.
My first thought was: is she getting enough light? Variegated plants need a lot of good light.
I have both an Albo and a Thai, and I’ve never given them silica (I’ve honestly never even heard of that here in Sweden 😅).
Both plants are in my living room with only 28% humidity, and they’re both thriving, no browning.
The only thing is that they do have their own grow light that’s on for 14h a day. 🙂
