I removed the core leaves 4 months ago and a new echeveria grew from the center. Smaller echeveria will put out babies around the stem, from my past experience of doing that . It’s growing rapidly though. It did initially put out a flower . The black areas are burns from the sun . I think works on any rosette type succulent.
