I’m fairly certain but thought I’d ask here just in case there’s a small chance I’m wrong and there isn’t a massive amount of it behind my house….North Carolina (Piedmont).

Indeed it is. I know people talk about leaves of three and the reddish vines but that “mitten” shaped leaf is my give away diagnostic.

Yeeeep. I’m getting itchy just looking at it.

Leaves of three, let them be. Leaves of four, ____ _____ _____.

Poison ivy for sure. It’s really a non-issue if you weren’t planning on rolling around on the ground over there. Teach your children what it is and why they should avoid it (if you have any).

If you’re keen on pulling it all up, just please DO NOT burn it! Picture the poisonous fog from the hunger games…

    Hi neighbor, yep, it is.

You’ve also got Japanese stiltgrass down there, which is an invasive.
