My baby is getting massive and taking over the small room… I don’t know what to do. Should I just leave her like this, or cut the top off and make a new plant? 🥲
Chill and maybe a pole moss or tutor and tie some leaves to open more space, IMHO, but wait for more redditors opinions.

If you cut one or two leaves is OK i think as well.
But i think chopping now…is a bit sad.

So beautiful!!

You can give her a bit more time before chopping I think, enjoy this beautiful plant for now

If you make a new plant you will eventually have two giant plants. You’re already low on space, don’t do it!

If you decide to chop& prop I’d suggest air layering at this size

I would leave it alone. It’s not touching the ceiling yet. It’s beautiful.

Could always prune a few lower leaves to make it feel less unwieldy. Stick them in a vase with water, as greenery, in any space and enjoy them for a few weeks.

Agree with the other commenters, cutting some leaves to make space without chopping seems the way to go. But also you can always sell the chop and prop once it’s established!

THAT is a very nice monstera 🙂
i’d leave it for awhile, and enjoy it as is. because purdy 😉 then top chop ‘n drop when it gets too big, give the base to a friend, or compost it if you need the pot/planter for the top piece.
no different than doing moss poles 😉
fwiw.

I personally would get rid of some of the smaller plants before I would consider chopping this beauty. Depending on your space, removing some of the lowest leaves and putting the plant on a small pedestal may free up some space

Chill. Get a big grow light for above to encourage more upward growth, but she’s still got a lot of room to grow.
You could chop the lowest leaves to get back some floor space
