I bought 35 hens, and I already have 20 old ones! I got the Sasso Scarlet and Lohman Brown breeds. What breeds do you have and how much are they laying? I'm planning on getting one or two more breeds like Australorps, I'm also buying turkeys soon, so if you don't mind, please write me some advice for them. Best Regards!

The is a bit tangential but are your hens using those roosting bars? Angling them works great if they are flat but from the photos it at least looks like these are tilted forward which means they would have to balance partially on the thinner edge, which might be uncomfortable and can make bumblefoot and warmth in winter a little trickier. Just passing this on for consideration since the advices helped me when I was starting out.
