This looks like a dappled shade spot ? Does it get at least 6 hours full on sun? Mine was a tiny babe that grew fast in a south facing location, full sun, until mid afternoon when the house gave it shade . I’m in zone 7b
It’ll grow, it just takes time. I planted plugs 2 years ago, and they’re now looking like real plants. Mine are about to bloom too. I’m in Zone 7.
Woohoo! Mine is year three or four and blooming for the first time! I moved it a few times in those years but I think it’s finally happy where I have it now! Congrats!
Don’t move it! It looks great. They live a long time but take awhile to get going.
It’s bananas how big they get, given that they have to regrow their entire above-ground structure from scratch every season. That requires a lot of root development.
