this is a big sharry baby I bought in 2024, I've been so resentful of it because it's never flowered for me before and it's supposedly an easy plant. I've gotten plenty of other plants to flower and win ribbons in orchid shows but this one was always stubborn

    And a new growth too!
(I see the spike is bent, make sure it does’t remain stuck on the leaf so it will not impair the great show)

Mine get lots of bright and a little full morning sun. Never allowed to dry out completely and in 50 -60% sphagnum moss rest is small bark, horticultural charcoal and perlite. My Sharry baby bloomed for almost 6 months this year and my zinc. AKA Baby Raspberry Chocolate has 5 spikes for the first time in 2 years. I think I had over potted her. I struggles with oncidium for a while and I have finally gotten the hang of them. Currently working on my Dendrobium and encyclia care skills.
