  1. I live in St Augustine FL. Now that I have retired I would like to have a perennial garden. I heard it’s very easy to grow so I can’t wait to finish this video to see how it’s done

  2. I like using different size pots, depending on the size of the plant. It is also visually appealing. I live in zone 5-6, would it help if I protected my smaller containers with burlap and other kinds of insulation? Please and thank you for your kind advice 🙏

  3. Cultivating heat-tolerant crops is a major focus of mine, so seeing your breakdown of resilient varieties like the Phenomenal lavender [03:20] is incredibly helpful. The specific tip about mixing standard potting soil with coarse perlite to improve drainage is a great takeaway for keeping container plants thriving through the hottest months. Fantastic and practical breakdown!

  4. Zones 4-5, 2nd floor balcony, facesSE.sun all day! Temps -15 to 100+. Want flowering. Would Day Lily work? What else? Thank you, very informative ❤

  5. I moved to a condo last year. North facing patio. It is covered and my contractor covered all the opening in heavy vinyl. I sat out here all winter with a space heater and a heated throw. He did make a “window” of a wood frame that I can open and refill the bird feeder. I did screen shots of your lists and I will print them out when I go to the garden centers.

  6. Darn….this video focuses mostly on plants surviving cold temps. I'm in Dallas/Ft Worth which makes pretty flowers and plants hard to keep during the intense (horrible) humid summer heat.
