I cut the 4 inch cuttings with notches and let them callus over. Now what do I do? Do I put them in water or pot them? Any other advice? I'm new to snake plants.
Just stick it in moist soil, cover with plastic to keep it moist, and it should root. Just make sure you have the right end up, which I see you already have cut it so that you can tell.
I stuck about 6 pieces in each of a few 6″ nursery pots and watered small amounts, but more frequently than I normally would. I kept them under strong grow lights, and gave them a lot of time, months, and eventually they started pupping.

I’ve done water and soil. I don’t prefer one method over the other but mine took like 6 months to root and another 3-4 to throw a pup. They’re SLOW slow
