

ive had this imperial green philodendron for 3 or 4 years now since it was very small. i really have never known much about philodendrons. is the way its growing look normal or does it need more light? its hard because putting it right in the sun burns in. its being held up with a yard light atm but im looking into getting it a proper pole. advice appreciated. thanks

No, looks good to me. That’s a normal growth pattern, and the internodal spacing is pretty tight.
Even so-called self-heading Philos are technically climbers. They’re just bred to be very slow at climbing. Plant looks fine.
