Leaves are turning yellow instead of the usual green + variegation. It’s growing in water and it sits on a shelf near my balcony with morning light.

Is this too much light, nutrient related or just normal for this type?

I also practice hydro culture and I’m thinking it just needs some nutrients just order some liquid fertilizer on Amazon and you should be good

Needs a liquid fertilizer. It’s the oldest leaves that are yellowing and will likely drop soon, this is because the plant is taking nutrients from those leaves to continue self-sustaining the newer growth.

    I see it’s in water.

For my water based plants I normally squirt a bit of liquid fertilizer in the water
