I’m so excited! Just got the raspberries today and the blackberries I’ve had three days. Transplanted immediately and keeping in the shade. How long does the blackberry bare root cane take to leaf out? I bought 15 gallon root bags to go in the ground where these will live but I’m thinking of letting them fill up a pot with roots for a season. I have gophers, so many gophers and I don’t want the gophers to have my berry roots. They take everything and leave me nothing lol.
