  1. Speedzone will shred it but I’d personally keep it for now until closer to the fall when you need to put seed down

  2. Blanket spray it with Trimec 992 mixed with surfactant.

I personally like having a few patches of clover in my yard. It’s in Bloom right now and the bees are loving it

Triclopyr. But honestly it looks like the only weed in that grass. I’d mow it and leave the clover.

Any broadleaf takes them out. I dont mind clover in the lawn, actually seeded some in my backyard cause their dog resistant.

  6. I also have clover. I have used speedzone but these things are hard to kill and will keep coming back. I hear that clover likes acidic soil so I am trying lime to see if that eliminates it. Do a soil test and see what your results come back with.

    Quick fix: Speedzone
    Long term Fix: maybe lime?

Leave it and be grateful that you won’t need to fertilize your lawn as much.

Clover fixes nitrogen into the ground. It is beneficial to have.

hi it’s me your neighbor i actually just bought a big bag of clover+grass seed combo and it’s probably just spreading, it’s good for the lawn and corrects nitrogen and does well in areas a lot of grass doesn’t so it’s good cover for problem areas anyway glad you like it it seems to be doing well!

Keep the clover? No. A good 3 way selective broadleaf herbicide will be safe on grass if used correctly and knock out the clover. Might take 2 sprays.

Here come all the hippies to tell you that clover is super epic and awesome and you’re a bad person for wanting a uniform lawn in a subreddit about how to achieve a uniform lawn

DON’T! SO beneficial, and hours of free child care.

    Looks like good grazing!

Fescue? 2-4D. Overseeding this year? Glyphosate 5 weeks before re seed. Triclopyr is a great one as well. You could try speed zone but depending on your climate could smoke some of your grass. I’d just glyphosate and reseed.

I’ve had better luck with t-zone than speed zone. Fuckin hate clover and all the bees it attracts.

I’ve tried and tried and tried to get that shit to grow in my lawn because it’s good for it. You gotta be kidding me! 😂

Keep seeding, eventually the grass takes and chokes out the weeds

I think it’s beautiful. No idea why it gets a bad wrap.

I sprayed Ortho Weed B Gon Chickweed, Clover and Oxalis Killer this season on three strips/patches that have been pains in the peak summer for me and it’s gone. I used the hose end sprayer and sprayed twice separated by a little over a week. It’s gone. Just gone. Sprayed it around the patio and same result. It’s just bare rock now and nothing. I’m impressed and convinced.

Hose end seemed better to get max coverage, so I went that route.

You’ll have less disease and have to fertilize less if you leave it alone.
