Bought a house that had a bunch of this in one of the garden beds. Not sure if I should let it go or rip it out.

    Liriope muscari, likely originally planted and has spread around by itself. It’s an ornamental grass, so keep it if you like it

    Edit: might be species L. spicata, which would have a different growth habit of more spread around rather than clumping. Can’t tell by the photos though

    Liriopefor sure – the good one gets very fat blades and the bad one they stay 1/4″- hard to tell for me if they’re not full grown
