Dunelm’s £25 outdoor lights turn the patio into a ‘French café’
Dunelm is selling a rustic-inspired set of sting lights designed to enhance your outdoor spaces this summer. The Cafe Metal 8 LED Outdoor Solar String Lights are priced at £25 and feature eight warm white LED lights with delicate wire casing.
They’re solar powered, meaning you don’t have to worry about cables or switches, and the lights can be set to either constant or flashing depending on the occasion. Taking to the reviews section, one shopper called the Café lights “beautiful and different”.
They said: “Lovely lights, look very delicate but strong, makes my patio look like a French café. They are quite different from any solar lights l have looked at, very pleased with the effect.”

Another pleased buyer said: “Everything I thought they would be. They look the part, definitely French café. Beautiful glow, not too bright.”
While a third fan added: “Beautiful. These garden lights are perfect for any size garden and really make a statement. Especially in the evening when having friends over.
Although, this buyer reported some issues with theirs, writing: “Love the look and very well made. Installed fine and on the first night of use they stayed lit for eight plus hours in our greenhouse. Subsequent nights, we get barely an hour of light before it switches off, even though we’ve had much sunnier days to charge the unit.

“Really disappointed as at £25 they aren’t cheap.”
Alternatively, Next offers the Black 40 Warm White LED Outdoor Festoon Line Lights 9.8M, priced at £28, which are mains powered. Shoppers have said they look “so pretty and welcoming”, turning patios into a “Mediterranean courtyard”.
Creating a warm white glow, the lights are ideal for adding ambience to the garden, especially during warm weather gatherings this spring and summer. They’ve earned a high rating of 4.7/5 stars overall with some shoppers claiming them to last for years.

There’s also plenty of options available on Amazon, including the Suolita Solar Outdoor Lights for £9.99 (currently reduced to £6.78 in a limited time deal). These lights feature a cracked crystal design which softly diffuses the light across the space.
