Our neighbor took down their pecan tree, in February, and we used their chips on our yard. For 5 years we’ve used wood chips and mushroom blocks all over the property to increase organic matter, and this is the first time I’ve seen this mushroom species!

I just saw one of those in my garden today. I wonder what it is.
I just saw this in my lawn a few days ago too! I was so confused because I thought some animal had dropped a renegade fruit peel. Also my first time seeing this species.

I found on recently as well. I am tempted to think these are Wine Cap mushrooms aka Garden Giants.

I found these in our yard this week and a neighbor said they are a kind of bolete!
I think they’re queen boletus mushrooms. I had a bunch growing in my yard after it rained, a couple years ago. They haven’t come back this year, sadly… They’re edible.
