I have my lemon tree in a 30 gallon grow bag. So far so good.
I have had mine in one for 3 years and it is doing great! I have it on casters so I can easily roll it in for the winter.
Yes. I have one that froze year 1-2 and fire ants nested in and planted basil in, then I nipped the dead stem below the ground. Year 2/3, wait, what? It sprouted, now it has bloomed and is fruiting,.it’s only 2 feet tall. Anyway I drilled drainage holes in the bottom and it works great! 100% user error. 10/10 recommend.
I’ve placed many babies in stuff like that and they gave grown up to be productive adults.
That’s a bad ass deal and now I’m probably going to go buy two new giant pots that I don’t need
