The Elden Ring modding community is considered one of the best. Being able to create complete game overhauls, add survival mechanics, and even introduce brand-new locations, if you are ever in the mood to start a new playthrough of the hit FromSoftware RPG but want some extra challenges, these free creations are the way to go.

That includes the mod titled Elden Ring: Garden of Eyes, a collection which aims to completely overhaul Elden Ring, even adding bosses that are not present in the base game, such as none other than Miquella the Kind himself.

Elden Ring: Garden Of Eyes Is Hugely Ambitious

Available to download on the official Garden of Eyes Patreon page, this mod is extremely ambitious to say the least. As such, in its latest update, players are able to head to the Garden of Abundance and take down Miquella the Kind once and for all. In this showcase video, you can see the battle in real time, and discover just how much of a fight the brother of Malenia is willing to put up. By shooting into the sky and raining down his golden light, and even charming our Summons and even Torrent, this is no easy boss fight, but there is no denying that it looks stunning.

After Miquella’s shameful defeat at the hands of the Tarnished, he retreated back into the Gate of Divinity. However, the Tarnished will do what’s necessary to end his godhood once and for all…

This is just one of many examples of what Elden Ring: Garden of Eyes offers its users, and if you want to check it out yourself, you can download the free Garden of Eyes public demo which can be found on the creator’s Patreon page.

Who Needs Elden Ring 2?

Ranni Age of Stars Elden Ring

At the time of writing, there is no news of a potential continuation of Elden Ring. However, following the success of its Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, and more recently, its roguelike spin-off, Elden Ring: Nightreign, there is no doubt that this series will continue in at least some capacity. That being said, with FromSoftware’s next title, The Duskbloods, set to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 later this year, we may be waiting a while for more official Elden Ring content.

Nevertheless, it is mods such as Garden of Eyes which will keep the wait a lot less painful, as players will be able to dive into a brand-new playthrough of Elden Ring but experience a whole new world than what they are used to. Better yet? It is completely free to play.
