A cute little momma Carolina Wren has made her nest on my balcony for a 2nd year and her babies have hatched!
Ive been looking out for a partner that brings her food but I haven’t seen one. if none shows up I will step up and be the baby daddy. I plan to get her some crickets and meal worms and put them out for her along with seeds, but if anyone else has suggestions plz share.
I put an extra layer of sun protection over her nest because the heat from the sun can make my porch way too hot in the afternoons when it sets. Last year her nest was shaded all day so it didn’t need it.

The wrens are everywhere. I had to discourage one from building a nest in our garage door opener.
I love their little mad faces. 😍
They are mainly bug eaters but will eat from suet cakes. Mealworms are a great idea.
