Grill and chill outdoors season is, fingers crossed if the weather behaves, almost upon us, so now’s the time to get prepped.

Lidl is introducing a number of outdoor star buys to its much-loved middle aisle in the coming weeks that those planning a garden remodel will want to get their hands on before they sell out, including:

Gone are the days of working up a sweat pushing a lawnmower around your garden unless that’s your thing.
If not, sit back and soak up the sunshine while the Parkside 20V Robot Lawn Mower does all of the heavy lifting.
The robot mower is ideal for smaller gardens and is priced at €179.99, but those with more ground to cover should think about investing in the Parkside Performance 20V model, which will be on sale for €479.99.

Then there’s the brand’s 20V Cordless/Solar Robot Lawn Mower Charging Station, which is designed to offer a more sustainable, solar-powered option to garden maintenance. The charging station is priced at €99.99. Also on offer is a Robot Lawnmower Garage (€34.99) to protect your equipment.
For traditionalists who like the satisfaction of doing it themselves, the range also includes the Parkside Petrol Lawnmower for €129.99.
Sizzling summer feasts

Is there anything more appetising than the smell of sizzling sausages on a summer’s day? If your barbecue has seen better days, Lidl has several options from Grillmeister to consider instead.
For those on a budget, the options include the Drum Charcoal Barbecue, which costs just €39.99, but for the budding grill master, there is also the Ceramic Barbecue option.
This will set you back €349.99, but it does provide superior heat retention for better quality smoking and searing… and bonus points for its egg shape being very trendy!
Shed the clutter

Also on offer in the coming weeks is the Parkside Garden Shed, which offers the option to keep all of your garden tools neatly parcelled away from view for €159.99.
Elsewhere, add a floral pop of colour to your garden with Lidl’s mix and match Bartel Planters, which are priced at €18 for two.
As a finishing touch to help you make the most of your garden, there is also a hammock on sale for €39.99 which includes a frame as well as a garden swing for €64.99.
