Guys, I’m nervous! I thought this one looked cool (knew nothing about it) so I brought it home 2 weeks ago. It already has two new leaves coming in. I leave it in my living room with the curtains open, and run a humidifier beside it 8hrs a day (I live in Calgary where it’s VERY dry). How am I doing?? Any tips?

This was one of my first too and it’s still going strong 5 years later. Just keep it humid and water when top few cm becomes dry and you’re good!
It looks great so far! Just keep in mind that calatheas can be finicky so don’t freak out too much if some leaves are yellowing.
Also note that you should try and keep the soil moist but not waterlogged, so check and feel with your finger or a moisture meter how the top 2-3 inches feel before you water again
