I just noticed this yellowing on my fiddle leaf fig, and I'm not sure if it's due to over watering or from heat? The soil appears wet since as it was last watered a couple of hours ago, but I generally go a few days before watering, waiting for the top couple of inches of soil to dry out.
This plant is currently outdoors and receives full afternoon sun for a good number of hours, with temperatures going up to 102F/38C.
