  1. This isn't a video. This is a man sharing his plate with every random person! Instant subscribe for the big heart u have!❤

  2. Your best option to sell your plants is at a farmers market. I rarely seen some at a local farmers markets that are huge. I would suspect they would sell very fast or take a few times at the same farmers market. I've said it before "sell where your customers will show up.

    Also recommend flea markets.

  3. i use product that is a wood preservitive its called t w p and it seals the wood so tht it wont rot everything out

  4. There’s only 2 channels I keep close to my heart and will recommend to anyone… projectFarm, and yours… and every guy knows project farm. So trust me… this guy is up to par with project farm for all the help he does to beginner wood workers
    Thank you man

  5. Thanks, WhosTheVoss! I've been selling planters faster than I can make them! This was my first year in woodworking, and it has done much better than my laser projects on Etsy.

  6. How do you handle taxes and business? I don't know how you do it in America( I'm European), but you definitely have to tax things and stuff.

  7. Just trying to get an idea of what folks are selling these planters for (particularly the 16" ones. I set them at $45 and see no interest. Others have them from 30-60, so I put myself about in the middle. Kinda frustrating, but before I give up I thought I'd see what others are doing

  8. Love watching your videos. You are my favorite woodworker and content creator!! The only cedar pickets I have in my area (Florida) have been treated. Are your pickets also treated? Thanks again for being so awesome!!

  9. I would think just selling the pieces "au naturel" without any paint or stain and allowing the customer take care of that if they want would be OK. Same applies to the liner. Since it is OK to just place the dirt directly into the planters as is, then I don't see an issue. Again, if they want to install some type of liner, thatt's up to them.

My question about using a liner, such as a trash bag, doesn't that negate and drainage holes you add? Won't excess water just pool in the bottom instead of draining? And, if so, won't (or can't) that excess water negatively affect the roots?

  10. I feel like it’s so saturated on Etsy now… that they are selling for so cheap it’s not worth it? Idfk

  11. I clicked because I like wood. I stayed because of your just tell them concept. No fluff just telling it. If that makes any sense. Ultimately I like the way you talk.

  12. There are hand pump sprayers that will work, like the P-50 one from Rose Brand. It’s designed for thinned paint.

  13. There's a Sawmill at Kinta Oklahoma called Kinta Sawmill that only mills Eastern Red Cedar Lumber, and they make a lot of really good planter boxes too. It's worth the drive to pick up a trailer load of lumber to build planter boxes.

  14. Was going to do this, but then realized you live 40 mins away… darn it. You got the area locked down

  15. I do a quick look on marketplace for competition in my area and 5 straight pages of planter boxes that look strikingly like yours! Haha! Love your content!

  16. I have a nail gun that takes 16 gauge finish nails, would that work for these planter boxes or do I need a 18 gauge? Thanks in advance

  17. I'm just getting started. I am planing my pickets smooth then applying tung oil or shou sugi ban then tung oil. A lot more processing time. I'm thinking price point around $65 for a 13×13 box. They are selling $30 and $35 on marketplace around here unfinished

  18. Watch you all the time most straight forward doing these videos. Just ordered some blue prints .Just starting out in wood working newly retired. Western wi
