“I plant for pretty.” I love it.
Great video knowing how much the WHOLE family was there for support. Benjamin is one super special kid. He is so sweet and kind and caring and we all love him and are praying for a great recovery with the braces installation. Planting was a breeze today since you had already prepped and amended the beds. Thanks for sharing your life with us 👏😻👍💗😁⭐️🙏🌻🌼🌸🌺
I noticed you using the garden fork on the raised beds, what do you think of no till gardening for vegetables? have you tried it before? I have heard it stops compaction
Good morning! Hope Benjamin feels better quickly. I remember when my daughter got her braces. Everything looks great. It’s just starting to warm up enough here to think about planting. I’m so disappointed my Eastern Redbud is starting to leaf out, the pink flowers never bloomed this year, must have been the frost.
Hope the pigs got the big carrots!
Thank you so much for all the gardening inspiration! I’m disappointed to see that drip tape isn’t available in the GA Store. Do you have plans to offer it in the near future? In the meantime, could you share where you source the drip tape you use? I’m reworking my entire irrigation system this year and would really appreciate the guidance.
Mashed potatoes for braces. 😊
Going to love seeing all your veggies 🥦 grow! Good luck Benjamin, you are a trooper 💙🦷🪥
Enjoyed the video, thanks for taking us along.
Glad to hear that Benjamin did great with his 1st step with his braces. Take care buddy.
Benjamin is a 🪨⭐️🤩
SENDING COMFORT & WELL WISHES TO BENJAMIN. ❤ HAVE U THOUGHT ABOUT RAISING THE HEIGHT OF YOUR AWESOME VEG GARDEN? IT WOULD GIVE CROPS MORE SUN & IT'S EASIER ON YOUR BACK! 😊
I don’t understand why some viewers feel the need to publicly police Laura on every single thing she does. Asking her if she saves the soil that falls through her potting table?! Constantly nagging her about her compost pile and the rare occasion she might choose to throw out a practically dead plant?! There are definitely questions and comments that are digs and vailed criticism. Even asking her why she doesn’t eat ice cream made in Oregon. Wondering if their kids play on their play set? Or why the kids aren’t in school? Thankfully she handles everything with grace and gets enough encouragement from the rest of us that she hopefully doesn’t get discouraged. Laura and Aaron have such good attitudes and I look forward to their videos.
How often do you change out, and/or refresh, the garden raised bed soil? All the best to Benjamin and the braces!
Arborvitae in our yard also have bully roots in my raised beds!!!
Hi Laura,
Do you water your garlic through the winter? If yes, how often? And when do you start regular watering in spring – when there's some life symptoms on the garlic or just a fixed date?
Good job Benjamin! 😊
My favorite part of the property.
You are so far ahead of me this year! I guess I need to get with it in planting seeds! We can't plant outside until after Mother's Day so that is one of my excuses! As always, I learn something new in each video. I too garden for pretty as well as production. Good job Benjamin on getting your first braces. You will be so thankful when you are older how beautiful your teeth will be.💚
Nothing better than getting in the dirt!
Love your veggie garden. Just wondering why you threw away your old carrots? Just to clean out the bed or because of the taste?
I ordered some seed potatoes from Andrews and they are wonderful! Great Quality and pricing. I emailed with Monica and was a little star struck but I think I played it cool. lol I too had the Expander as a kid. It was a little rough. Im certain a lot has changed in 30 years (gross lol) Hang in there Benjamin! Thank you for Garden Answer. I have learned so much!
Brown sugar oatmeal coffee and G A perfection❤
Hope you feel better soon Benjamin!
24:57 I'm very surprised you don't grow cabbages in hedges in you're flowerbeds!!
I've planted them in rows and they're so adorable especially along a sidewalk!!
Oh my I love those Iris’ Iris are my favorite ❤️
Great video today .
I don’t know anything about growing crops (not yet, anyway, maybe one day) but I sowed my zinnia seeds yesterday and I’m so excited!
The spice margorine is so good in soups like a chicken vegetable soup. It gives it such a deep rich healthy flavor. And it's pretty too
We are done with our sugar snap peas ! Mesa 9 b 😂too hot for them already but we really enjoyed them ! Tomatoes almost all done too!
👍🥬🫛🫑🫐
"I garden a lot for pretty." When is that t-shirt going to be available?? 😍
🦅Benjamin you can do it. Feel better.🫅❤🪶🐦🐦⬛🦉
Yes. You and the whole Family are Such Sweetness, love. Love, LOVE watching you All Grow!! It's not a cool weather crop, but i don't think I've ever seen you grow green beans, or any beans–why is that?!! I've grown and frozen for winter food all kinds of beans all my life! They're so productive and easy to parch boil and freeze, and add to recipes in lackluster winter months!! You ROCK, Girl!!
Aww sweet Benjamin. Growing up so fast! You are a good mom and so blessed beyond measure with the great family you have. Your mom reminds me so much of my mother in law. So so fun to be around! Praying Benjamin isn’t too sore. Those first couple weeks are brutal

I bought the mesto sprayer and I would like to leave a review, but my computer does not like Peter Lowers tracking stuff that your site contains. Not only does it show up if I try to leave a review
but I could not even UNsubscribe without invoking it! Considering this is also the company who AUTOMATICALLY gave MY INFO to SHOP and opened and account WITH MY INFO…but
without asking my permission, I DO NOT TRUST YOU.. So what I'd like to say about the mesto sprayer is. 1. it is exceedingly hard to open as there are only smooth round surfaces to hold. 2. it does not hold pressure all that well. 3 the spray nozzle is very hard to adjust beyond a straight stream. Mist which was the point for seedlings is very hard to attain, SO hard to turn that far!
In short I'm not thrilled. 4. Hiding deep down inside was a SMALL piece of paper with diagram only directions. I have no clue how one is supposed to extract this piece of paper. Mine only came out with I added water and dumped. There is a dial like knob on the side of the lid, which seems to release pressure but there are ZERO markings to let you know which direction is OPEN versus CLOSED. 2 star. Not impressed. Add in the unwanted account containing my personal information at a company who had NO business having it. The only thing that happens if you track down HOW to remove the account you never asked for.. is "the account will be deleted in a month". WHAT.. in the mean time where ALL did they do send MY INFO. WHO ELSE NOW HAS IT?
I SO SO SO wish I had NEVER EVER ordered from Garden Answer. VERY much not what I was expecting for people who "seem nice online". Been watching for YEARS.
❤❤❤
Nice relaxing day , hope Benjamin does ok❤️🙏🏻
Laura, do you ever get a bag of potting soil with great big ole grubs in them and what do you do about it?
Braces hurt so much!!! Please provide lots of pain relieving items including pain relievers. Ice and popsicles help too.
I so much prefer these without the music. The music distracts from the beauty of the garden. Thankful for the mute button but then I can’t hear the garden sounds. ❤🌱
❤️❤️❤️
Could you please talk about how you plant tomatoes? I see your tomatoes looking wild as they’re growing. Do do anything when they blossom? You’ve inspired me and I’ve never had luck staking tomatoes. I find the tomatoes split. Thanks so much!
🌸🪴👍🏻🪴🌸
Poor Benjamin, he’s tough and so is Samantha Grace. I must say that I learn so much about gardening from your channel and I am grateful for that knowledge. 😊😊
Here to a speedy recovery for Benjamin!
What fertilizer do you put in their plans before planting them?
Have you heard of a dish called melting cabbage? I just saw a recipe for it and it looks delicious, I’m going to try it though you might also want to give it a try. ❤❤
I'm so excited to see you plant many of the crops I continually fail with! I've wanted broccolini for so long but I just haven't been able to get it right. I look forward to seeing what I'm doing wrong 😂❤
