The Master Gardeners of Walker County held their annual spring plant sale on Saturday in Jasper at the Walker County Extension Office. There was a large crowd at the event as people shopped from a variety of vegetable and herb plants. House plants and flowers were also available, and there was a children’s area where kids could get free tattoos and learn about planting. Proceeds from the event will benefit the organization’s annual education programs and projects. Everyone who bought a plant had an opportunity to be educated on its care from the Master Gardeners.
