I found this very high potential geranium near the trash, they hold up pretty well in tough conditions and the leaves are still green so its been dug up very recently but still I want to make sure I take care of it properly since I really don't want to loose what this guy has to offer, what shall I do and also is cutting till I hit green on all the branches a good idea? I checked and it's not dried out but also definitely not well hydrated (inside the bark)

Stick it in a pot with well draining soil. Put in shade for 2ish weeks. Then give it some food and move it to a sunnier spot.
Btw can anyone tell what kind of geranium this is?
