Just wanted to share my progress for others to see.

Sowed March 22 (Day 0). On heat mat at 20C, PPFD around 250 and DLI 13 (12 hours). I use a “professional soil mix” I find at my local store, it’s extra loamy. Already in the cells I put a pinch of dried cow manure fertilizer pellets. 3-4 seeds per well.

End of Week 1, some growth. Heads popping out day 5 ish. Almost 80% of varieties germinated by Day 7. Nothin spectacular. Removed heat mat. Watered by soaking entire tray until it’s soaked up, then I added around a finger tip of water in the tray for a week.

End of Week 2, all getting their first real leaves. Some late sprouters catching up. Lights up to around 500 PPFD as I noticed they were getting leggy. Have a small fan. Added water again.

End of Week 3, transplanted the strongest ones to their own pots. Lights up to 600 PPFD. Gave them a shock of real sun for 2 hours in the mid morning the day before. Did find them more purple than usual, even for the purple varieties. Watered with extremely diluted general ferts

When is your transplant date? You seem to have a well thought out strategy!

I planted my tomato seeds on April 1 with a transplant date as early as May 15 and into June depending on the weather. I’m not planning on potting up either.
