Hello! I bought this alocasia at a grocery store back in January (I think) with the sole intention of trying semi hydro. I’ve alocasia in the past with a typical chunky soil mix and they always died because I wasn’t very consistent with watering. (I tend to let them get a little too dry) anyway, I figured I’d try my hand at semi hydro and wow, what a game changer for someone like me!?! It’s been wonderfully easier on me with alocasia and I hope I don’t jinx it haha … so far both this one and my bisma are thriving. I always heard that alocasia like to be root bound. Does that still stand when they are in semi hydro? I’m using my own diy pon mix with added pumice and a small layer of leca on the very bottom. That one big leaf is one I got after switching to hydro and the most recent leaf was a little smaller so I was wondering if my pot is too small?

Thank you!
