Head to Bunnings and buy White Oil or “PestOil” and a sprayer. The oil suffocates them. Spray at dusk or on a cloudy day.

I personally would also mix in Yates Ultra Success which is an organic pesticide. Anything that bites the plant will die after a few days. Bees not affected

Prune of the tips of the branches where the leaves are all curled up, put them in a plastic bags and put that in the rubbish bin.

Treat the remaining plant with white oil or pyrethrum to try to kill off any remaining bugs. This may take a couple of treatments – weekly spacing is usually recommended.

Clear any grass and weeds from around the base.

Check how wet the soil is – the leaf discolouration issues could be too much water. If it isn’t soggy, ulch to retain moisture.

Finally, feed with a complete citrus fertiliser (one that has micronutrients). The most common causes of leaf discolouration are micro-nutrient deficiency.

Others have covered how to treat it so ill just add this trick. Crush a leaf in your hand it will release the oil and will smell like the fruit, so you can figure out what it is.
