I’ve tried other methods before, but using clay balls, tap water and these tiny terracotta pots has worked so well. These are about a month in. I think the terracotta helps because instead of changing the water I’m just topping it off since it naturally soaks it up. Clay balls help keep them upright.

I may need to try this. My snake props take forever. Do you plug up the bottom of the pot? I know those little terracotta’s usually have a tiny hole at the bottom, but maybe the clay balls are big enough to block them a bit.
