I’ve always been interested in ecosystem/sphere jars for as long as I remember. I made this yesterday and all things are from a river that goes through my town, i tried to add a plants but it’s early spring here and stuff isn’t growing as much yet. My stepdad added the moss that you can see in the picture because he said it’d produce oxygen. I have placed the jar on top of my shelf that isn’t right at the window to avoid direct sunlight (the sunlight wouldn’t come inside my room anyway because it’s facing away from the sun through out the day) There was a stonefly stuck there, was alive for the whole day yesterday but died when I woke up. Now the stonefly is just floating in the water
