Just installed these planter boxes and looking for some recommendations of what to put in them.

It's down the side of my house and the path is north/south so the end closest in the photo will only get limited sunlight. Based in Victoria

I'd love for this to be mostly functional plants (herbs/vegetables) but open to any suggestions

edit: excuse the half done paving – chipping away when we get time

Edit 2: garden beds are anywhere from 1.2m-2.4m long and ~0.5m wide

gardenate has a big long list of what’s suitable to plant now, just choose something from there that you like.

Be aware you’re going to get a lot of reflected heat of the fence during summer. So softer leafed he’s (coriander, basil) may we burn. If you want mint, I suggest you keep it in a dedicated container. Rosemary and lavender would go OK there. All depends what herbs you use in the kitchen. And maybe a couple of tomatoes.

Put some fruit trees in, relatively less maintenance, will grow above the fence for some added privacy and to catch sun

Cypress pines is what everyone else uses these days seemingly.
