I'd love an opinion on this tree!

I'm thinking about putting an offer on this house but I'm really worried about this fungus. The market is hot and I can't get someone to come look at it first.

My research shows that its ganoderma decay and will likely need to be removed, thoughts?

I can’t say it’s “dying”, but that much wood decay fungus means it’s not going to be stable for long. Plan on removal in the somewhat near future.

  2. Those might be Reishi Mushroom, usually grows on hemlock. It has a lot of medecinal properties. (might be another kind of mushroom tough, just looks like reishi).
