Thought I'd share an update for you all.

As you can see, I moved the tadpoles into another container that I painted (on the outside). I added rocks and some PVC pipe sections, as well as the wooden ladder for them to get out when they transform.
Thanks to some awesome advice from the Qld Frog Society President, I stopped feeding them fish food flakes (it increases nitrogen and could cause them to stop the metamorphosis cycle).
On his advice, I started feeding them blanched lettuce leaves, which they loved. I've since found out they love spinach even more! They've gone nuts for the (blanched) baby spinach.
There's been a bunch of deaths (survival of the fittest, I guess), but now that they've all grown a bit, that seems to have stopped.
The highlight of this week was when I discovered some of the bigger tadpoles have sprouted hind legs!
According to my friend at the Qld Frog Society, this is something that can happen very quick (they literally grew overnight). It's possible these have sprouted because we've had quite warm days this past week here in Brisbane.
He still thinks I've got frogs and not cane toads, as evidenced by the detail in their tails and that they really aren't the jet black of cane toad tadpoles.
I'll try to update again when I've got more legs sprouting!
