Curious if anyone can identify this tree. From what I remember last year, it had the fuzzy seed pods and large, asymmetrical serrated leaves. Most of the trees here are Siberian elm, but this one has much larger leaves and the bark is much less deeply furrowed. Seed pods were also very obviously different than the Siberian elm pods, different shade and size.
Google lens thinks it’s an oak tree based on the bark but I’m 99.9% positive it was throwing off the distinct elm pods and leaves last year.
Can anyone confirm it’s an elm, and any guesses if it’s a slippery or American elm, or something else entirely? The last photo shows a leaning siberian elm, which is most of the trees around here unfortunately. Can also see one in the background of the second photo. Any help with ID would be appreciated!

Looks American elm, next to a hackberry, with a bur oak in the background.
