The immediate switch from “they can keep their $3, $4,000 quote” to “I’m gonna teach you how to do it yourself and we’re gonna learn this together” took me out lmfaoooo

Man really broke down the whole budget like:

grass rug thing from Amazon: about $90

grass wall panels: about $120

adhesive from Home Depot: about $15

and then basically said yeah no, yall can keep that scammy ass quote

idk why this was so funny to me but the energy is so real… getting overpriced for something simple enough to at least attempt yourself really does unlock a different level of hater motivation. like now it’s not even about the balcony anymore, now it’s personal

Artificial grass. On concrete? Was it sealed?

Was probably less of a scam quote and more of a “I don’t want to deal with you” quote.

I’m wondering why Jesus needs to pay for grass

Only pretentious people get quotes on stuff like that anyways. Nothing screams foreigner like a bunch of random plants in the ground you know won’t survive lmao but dude used chatgbt correctly I guess yees

A roll of plastic is urban gardening nowadays?

“quoted $3-4k” is just contractor code for “i don’t actually want to do this tiny, annoying job so i’m gonna throw a ‘f*** you’ price at you and hope you’re rich enough to say yes.”

seriously, $4,000 for what? is the grass watered with the tears of a thousand organic unicorns? the audacity of some contractors in the landscaping niche is a total fever dream. glad OP chose the path of spite-fueled DIY. it’s the only way to live.

  7. Putting this much plastic up should be illegal. Disgusting
