Definitely look up to see if they are native to your area. If not then maybe a small bonfire so you don’t have to think about it. They are APEX predators insect wise and will kill everything including pollinators for your yard

Was so thrilled the year I had a mantis case in my organic garden.
Those I think are the native ones (for the USA) the Chinese ones look more like a little basket shape, we squish them cause they eat native while life where I am (butterflies and even a humming bird 🙁 )
