New build home. St Augustine was dormant for a bit. Followed some advice here and got some good Lesco down and my lawn is nice and green. But these weeds started to creep up FAST.
Sprayed this everywhere and water down the flower bed for any overspray

You’ll be good. Atrazine was the right move. You can always checkout Lawn HQ’s herbicide search tool to confirm you won’t nuke your lawn haha
Not quite sure what the issue is? Fertilizer works on just about any plant – some might prefer different pH, but pretty much every plant loves nitrogen. It looks like you’re using an herbicide that is listed as safe for your grass type. Spraying down your garden with clean water afterwards is a definite plus.
It can be difficult to wait for the herbicide to kick in, so my only advice would be to wait the amount of time specified in the directions before applying more herbicide. Good luck!
