I don’t know if the cold this winter killed it or what. My blue mulhy appears mostly dead. I don’t know whether I should cut off the brown parts or replace the whole plant.

I’m pretty much ignorant when it comes to plant care. What should I do?

Give it a haircut. Trim it all about 4inch from the ground. It will grow back. I typically cut back my muhly grass in early spring, but its not too late.

  2. Definitely not dead or sick. It does that after (nearly) every winter. Cut it back and it will grow back better than ever! It’s a grass, they go dormant in winter so you can cut the old stuff off at around 4-6 inches
