Should I chop and prop and if so how far down should I go?

My fiddle has been very happy and pumping out big leaves consistently but it’s getting very top heavy and leaning really badly. I’ve been thinking about chopping and propping as I did that before to get it to branch but I definitely didn’t go as low as I should have. I’m a bit nervous it won’t survive if I chop down below the leaves but I’ve tried notching before to try get a branch to come out the other way
