Hey guys. New leaf unfurling, has taken a LONG time to make its way out and up. 3 weeks between it first pushing through the sheath until now. Weather has been slightly cooler here in Sydney so not my main concern although unusually slow, all other factors light etc have remained the same.
Main concern is the white on the new leaf is already starting to brown in two spots, top and middle? Plant has no other indications of anything wrong, root rot etc. well drained and soil dries out before I rewater.
Any ideas?
Edit: brown spot originally appeared after lightly misting leaf in an attempt to help move it along when it was curled up as it was unusually slow and humidity in Sydney has dropped. It is now spreading and there is a new brown patch that has appeared only recently.

Why hello der
Usually caused by water getting trapped prior to unfurling. Do you mist or have a humidifier nearby?
Hmm, my first thought when I saw that was thrips, however the rest of the plant looks okay. Just check the plant over for any brown shaded spots (usually found under the leaves) otherwise I wonder if water was trapped before the leaf could fully unfurl? Caused that section to brown off prematurely? Hmm 🤔
