I inherited this beauty last year… repotted it and have been trying to do good by it… but I think I need help. I have zero idea what I’m really doing here…
I recently learned that I need posts for it to climb. I’ll be adding those, but… where?
which brings me to my next point, when I repot and add the support.. do I seper this into 6 plants and give them each their own posts? Or??
I also got this “grow light” on Amazon, but I did some candle something measurements that were far below their advertised strength so they needed to be closer… but idk… seems a replacement is in order also?
thank you in advance for advice and tips.

Welcome to the world from another plant dad!
Ok first, watering… Water only when the top 2-3 inches of soil is dry… Then flood until you see water coming out of the drain holes in the pot. You’re not going to want to spot water as this can lead to over watering issues. It’s better to under than over water… A good plant food and/or fertilizer is definitely beneficial. I’ve been using happyhappyhouseplant plant food for years. But there are many really good ones out there.
They also love humidity. I keep my place between 50-70% with humidifiers.
Lighting. These THRIVE on bright light. They even can be acclaimed to full summer sun outdoors. So even sun in a south-facing window all day is going to be filtered, so what light you can give, the better. Mine sits all day in a south-facing window and I have grow lights (3 on my thai constellation) on for 12-16 hrs a day. I like both GE PAR38 bulbs and Sansi 36W grow bulbs.
I recommend a cedar plank buried in as deep as you can.

Cedar due to its resistance to rotting. Velcro straps work well to hold the stem to the board. You’re going to want it towards the backside of the plant. Which leads to separating the plants if you choose. You don’t have to, but imo it would make it cleaner and easier if there is only one back. Most of the time many are potted facing different directions.
Here’s my 8′ with a plank for reference
Again, welcome to the club!
