Our FL yard is a disaster of sand, this ai yard is the dream, but is it doable as a diy or on a very slim budget and where would you start? Also if you’ve done anything similar can you let me know how much you paid to make it happen?
I know very little about the costs associated with these sorts of things, but no, this is not achievable on a very slim budget.

What does slim budget mean to you? I’d say DIY you’re looking at $6-8k? Professionally, $10-15k
Especially with the turf installation
dantechiel
You’re looking at 2-3k in materials and that doesn’t include the grass or labor

I’ve done plenty of DIY stuff I end up completing and tearing out later on and having a pro do it. I’d say yes this is achievable but if you want it to look professionally done don’t skip steps or skimp on material.

Lol anything can happen with enough money. Sorry that wasn’t nice, I just did a very similar paver patio as the first step to my similar idea. It is 22×16 and cost about 3500 bucks. I am in east coastal FL. I love your vision.

depends on slim. if coverage from sun and rain is not the main goal, do the paving first, then go from there as you can. it will give you somewhere to sit and relax, which seems to be the core goal.

Material wise you are at $5k now double that to install plus 20%

Very doable if you diy over time. Turf and stones might be the most expensive. You can find a prefab pergola at decent price. Its a bit of work.

Just curious what sort app or software you used to do the AI render.

A new AC unit can run 15k
If you use artificial turf, sure.
What is your very slim budget?
