This DIY Backyard Lounge Came Out PERFECT 😍#Satisfying#diy

We started with an empty backyard space and turned it into a cozy DIY wooden lounge from scratch.

First, we marked the base footprint on the grass to plan the exact size and position of the structure. After that, we embedded short wooden pedestals into the ground to support the raised platform and keep the base stable.

Next, we built the floor frame on top of the pedestals, then enclosed the entire base with perimeter boards so the support blocks were hidden cleanly from the outside. Once the frame was locked in, we installed the deck floorboards to create the raised wooden platform.

After the base was finished, we installed the four main corner posts and connected them with the upper support frame to form the main skeleton of the pavilion. Then we built the roof frame with a slight front overhang to give the structure a more polished finished look.

From there, we started enclosing the walls. The back wall was completed first using horizontal wooden slats, leaving one small window opening for light and airflow. Then the left wall was finished with evenly spaced horizontal slats, followed by the right-front wall section, which also included a small vertical window.

Once the wall framing was done, we installed the roof boards from above until the flat roof was fully covered. With the main structure complete, we moved inside and built the pallet-style seating layout, including the back bench, right-side bench, and the short front seat near the entrance.

After the seating frame was completed, we added thick gray cushions to make the pavilion feel more comfortable and inviting. Then we installed simple wooden shelves on the back interior wall and small display ledges on the side wall sections for decor.

To finish the project, we styled the entire lounge with potted plants and simple accessories to create a warm, cozy backyard retreat. The final result was a compact DIY wooden pavilion with a clean modern look, comfortable seating, natural wood tones, and a relaxing outdoor vibe.
