Okay, I know I am obviously not the best care taker of African Violets but I love them. The first picture is what every single African Violet I have ever owned ends up looking like. I bought this one last September along with the African Violet pot it's in. The leaves are healthy but once the blooms die they never rebloom. The second picture is an African Violet I had for a couple of years that looked very much like the first picture when I gave it to my mom last July before moving out of state. I went home to visit only to find it had waaaay more blooms than even when I had bought it. I had given it to her with the little African Violet pot I had it in. I asked her what she did and she just said "oh I kind of forgot about it, almost killed it, pruned it, and now it's fine." Like, yeah, obviously it's fine, but what the hell. I've never almost killed mine and they never blooms for me. Is it me? Is my mom a witch? What. The. Hell.
