Hey guys, my alocasia is always struggling.
When I got it everything seemed fine & it even got 2 new leaves. But since then it’s going downhill and it’s probably loosing a second leaves now. 🙁
Had it in Spangnum moss for a short time, but that molded, so now it’s in an Aroid Mix, maybe shocked by repotting? The substrate is still wet after 2 weeks.
The roots looked fine without rot and I even got 5 little corms when repotting.
Humidity is always pretty low in my room so that is definitely a problem.
I got 2 windows facing south. The alocasia ist about 2-2.5m from them, so it might be a bit to shady. In the window it would get 2-4 hours of direct sunlight.
Should I place it in the window with some other plants? I’m thinking about a small shelf the I can put infront of the window, is that a good idea?
Do you have Any advice or do you need some further information?
Thanks a lot!

I think the soil still looks a little dense, along with the fact that it’s far from the window probably is making the soil not dry fast. I would move it into the window for sure. Also re check the roots, if the soil has been wet for 2 weeks straight I would be worried
