GARDEN CITY, Idaho (CBS2) — Garden City Police is reporting that a driver who crashed into several parked cars early on Sunday morning has been cited for inattentive driving.
GCPD Chief Stambaugh reported that just before 5:00 am on Sunday, April 5, a driver later identified as Dylan Gross collided with several parked vehicles at a car dealership along Chinden Blvd. Chief Stambaugh says that the collision involved Gross’ pickup truck and at least seven parked vehicles. Fortunately, no one else was injured.
Gross was transported to the hospital for treatment. He was cited for misdemeanor inattentive driving. Chief Stambaugh said, “It is extremely fortunate that no lives were lost and there were no other injuries during this collision. Inattentive driving can lead to serious injuries or death, and it’s important to always stay alert and focused when behind the wheel.”
