At Elsewhere Too, the drinks come first and they don’t mess around. If you’ve ever sipped one of Elsewhere’s famously boozy lemonades on the River Walk, you already know the reputation. Clocking in at a bold 17% ABV, those cocktails helped make Elsewhere Garden Bar & Kitchen a destination in its own right. Now, they’ve found a much bigger, more playful playground just north of the city.

Set on a vibrant 6-acre property in the Shavano Park area, Elsewhere Too expands the brand’s signature charm into a fully immersive outdoor experience. Part garden bar, part art installation, part adult fairytale, the space blends natural beauty with imaginative design in a way that feels effortless and fun. Guests wander beneath twinkling lights draped through mature trees, past sculpted topiaries and quirky art installations, and through a dramatic 42-foot curved flower tunnel that feels pulled straight from a storybook.

Elsewhere Toe’s 52-foot Ferris wheel is called the “Whimsical Wheel.”

Anchoring the property is a true showstopper: a 52-foot Ferris wheel. Equal parts unexpected and joyful, it adds a playful edge to the already vibrant atmosphere, offering sweeping views of the venue and reminding guests that Elsewhere Too is meant to be explored, not rushed.

As day turns to night, fire pits glow and conversations stretch longer. A Victorian-style greenhouse provides a striking setting for private events and celebrations. At the same time, the rest of the property encourages lingering. Whether that means another lap around the grounds or another round of drinks. Every detail feels intentional without feeling precious, designed to spark curiosity and connection.

Behind the bar, Elsewhere Too leans into what made the original location so popular. Many of the venue’s most beloved drinks were made famous at Elsewhere’s River Walk outpost, including those punchy boozy lemonades that remain a calling card. The cocktail menu carries that same playful energy.

Elsewhere Too serves a menu of burgers, fried chicken sandwiches and appetizers.

The food menu keeps things simple and satisfying, built around familiar favorites like cauliflower wings, garlic Parmesan fries, and a buffalo chicken sandwich. It’s comfort food — easy to share, easy to love, and ideal alongside a strong drink.

Elsewhere Too also keeps the calendar moving with a rotating mix of events throughout the week. Guests might stumble into Movie Mondays, pop-up Pilates classes, live music, or watch parties, making each visit feel a little different from the last. Families are welcome earlier in the day, but after 8 p.m., kids are not allowed, shifting the nighttime energy toward a more relaxed, adult-forward vibe.

Whether you’re stopping by for a casual drink, celebrating something special, or simply looking for a night that feels a little more imaginative than usual, Elsewhere Too delivers. It’s creative without being overdone, lively without feeling chaotic — and proof that sometimes, the best nights happen when you let yourself be somewhere else.
