Spring Gardening Workshop in Monterey Park (Photo – Pasadena Library)

Small spaces can go green too, and the Monterey Park Library is ready to show residents how.

By Melanie Hooks

On Saturday, April 18, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, the library will host a hands-on Spring Gardening Workshop in the Friends Room, led by UC Master Gardener Chester Chau.

The event aims to help attendees make the most of limited gardening areas, offering practical techniques and expert guidance. Because the workshop includes interactive instruction, space is limited and advance reservations are required.

Community members can RSVP by calling Adult Services at (626) 307-1368 or by texting (626) 283-6062. The Monterey Park Library is located at 318 S. Ramona Ave., Monterey Park, CA 91754.
