hi friends! This Thai Con was my first monstera and my first time using a moss pole. I've had her since September. She's growing off of the moss pole, which I'm sure is my fault–either incorrect positioning when I potted it or its original location where it wasn't sure if it liked the real sun or the grow light better. But what now? She has well established roots in the pole so I can't just move the pole. Should I leave her alone? Try to retrain her in some way to move back to the center?

You can still move/bend the stem right and tie it to the pole below the highest aerial root. I’d do it now before the stem gets bigger and it’s not so flexible

left of center 😂 good one

how far away are her light sources usually and how are they positioned?

My normal monstera has done almost exactly this and yes it is somewhat our fault but also somewhat plant will do what plant wants 😂 best you can do is just try and train it back towards the pole! Its tough to keep moss poles at the right level of moisture and i think its a big factor in how our plants grow up them!

Mr. Miyagi told Daniel to walk on one side of the road, never the center. Sometimes, when things are off center, we learn to bend and flex to recenter whilst we stay limber.

I have the same thing happening with my Albo. I’m air layering the top node. Once the roots are nice and established. Im going to chop the top and replant into the center of the moss pole when I extend it.
